His journey spans both agency-side endeavors and global in-house advertising strategies. Currently, as the Advertising and Demand Generation Manager at Printful, Elvis is dedicated to helping artists and entrepreneurs turn their creative visions into thriving e-commerce businesses. We are excited to leverage his extensive knowledge and innovative approach to digital marketing within the IAB Baltics community.

    Sander Maasik Advertising Sales Director, Ekspress Grupp

    With a solid decade at Delfi Meedia, Sander Maasik has established himself as a key player in the advertising field. As the Advertising Sales Director and a member of the Management Board, he's been instrumental in spearheading successful campaigns and building strong client relationships. Sander's skill set extends into management, advertising, and project management, where his thoughtful approach to brand development and customer relationship management has made significant contributions.

    Joining the IAB Baltics team, Sander offers his rich experience, a thoughtful strategic perspective, and a genuine enthusiasm for digital media innovation. His well-rounded expertise and understanding of the advertising industry are set to be valuable assets to our initiatives.

TCF Vendors & CMPs Registration and Management Portal Proposal

To further enhance our ability to manage the registrations of TCF (Transparency & Consent Framework) Vendors and Consent Management Platforms (CMPs), IAB Europe seeks to move its existing portal to a new architecture and add support for administration workflows that will help IAB Europe manage the registration process and support the various procedures of the TCF compliance programmes.

IAB Europe's Response to the European Commission's GDPR Multistakeholder Expert Group Questionnaire for the 2024 Report

IAB Europe submitted their observations to the European Commission on the Multistakeholder Expert Group Questionnaire for the 2024 Report on the Application of the GDPR.

The response underscores several priority issues requiring attention under the GDPR. These include the imperative for more consistent application of data protection laws, enhanced education and awareness about the GDPR, and the necessity to support research and development into innovative data protection technologies by better applying the risk-based approach. Our Pan-European Retailer Digital Advertising Capability Map

IAB Europe announced the release of the Pan-European Retailer Digital Advertising Capability Map, a new resource that marks a significant step in shaping the landscape of retail media in Europe. The Map is a significant milestone in our roadmap to provide more education and standardisation for the Retail Media landscape in Europe. Other resources to encourage awareness and investment in Retail Media include A Retail Media Advertising Product Matrix, A 101 Guide to Retail Media, Retail Media Definitions and A Retail Media Glossary.

IAB Europe responds to the EDPB public consultation on their draft guidelines 2/2023

IAB Europe, in coalition with National Trade Association members representing thousands of companies operating in the digital marketing and advertising ecosystem has responded to the EDPB public consultation on their draft guidelines 2/2023 on Technical Scope of Art. 5(3) of ePrivacy Directive.

The undersigned associations have grave reservations that the proposed guidelines 2/2023 as currently drafted entail significant risks of discrepancies in their application by organisations and regulators. Read the full response below.

IAB Europe’s DSA Transparency Implementation Guidelines

IAB Europe announced the publication of our Implementation Guidelines for the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA) Transparency to help online platforms meet the legal requirements for user-facing information disclosures. To facilitate this process, IAB Tech Lab and the IAB Europe Taskforce have standardised data collection, compilation, and transport with new Technical specifications and Implementation guidelines. IAB Europe Welcomes First Chair & Vice-Chair of the Retail Media Committee

IAB Europe welcomed the first Chair and Vice-Chair of the Retail Media Committee, to help lead and drive integral work and pan-European standardisation and education in this rapidly growing digital advertising space.

Jason Wescott, Global Head of Commerce Solutions at GroupM Nexus was elected as Chair of IAB Europe’s Retail Media Committee, alongside Patricia Grundmann, Chairwoman of Retail Media Circle, Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e.V. and Vice President Media & Retail Media, Managing Director OBI First Media Group, who was elected as the Vice-Chair, during the first Committee meeting of 2024.
